How To Speed Up Your Gaming PC

When it comes to PC gaming, hardware performance is a top priority. Many of the AAA titles make use of the extra power, so having more power available is only a good thing.
One way to improve your PCs performance is to defragment your hard drive. Over time your computer’s hard drive gets fragmented when you run a program as well as opening or closing a file, and the more fragmented it is the slower your computer gets.
This is why you should defragment your hard disk at least once a month. This can be done with Windows’ built-in Disk Defragmenter utility. Just click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter and begin defragmenting the drive.
This process can take up to a few hours depending on your PCs configuration. Also be sure to restart your computer after the defragmenter utility has finished.
