A Guide to Wargroove

Posted on November 19, 2017 at 7:53 pm

Wargroove is a turn-based strategy game played by up to 4 people. Each person controls an army and its command unit to wage war against each other. The game emphasizes accessibility in its design making it easy to learn. The difficult part involves the intricate gameplay mechanics that make Wargroove’s strategic play hard to master.

The goal of the game is to kill the opposing commander or to take over the enemy’s base. Either of them will give you a win. There are buildings that give you resource point across the map. The more buildings you control the more the gold you earn.

To capture the enemy building you will need to kill the guard unit inside it first. Each faction of the fame has a unique commander unit but they have a similar selection of units besides how they look.

Wargroove is due for release in early 2018 but no release date has been set yet, it will be available on PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, developed by Chucklefish.

Fortnite, Forts I Like – PC, PS4, Xbox One

Posted on July 31, 2017 at 5:11 pm

The long-awaited Fortnite has finally left it’s closed Alpha and is available as an Early Access purchase. This means that the game is released, but not officially, and is still being worked on by the developers.

It’s important to get that out of the way first because a great many people are jumping into Fortnite as if it were like any new game, and it’s not. Much like Early Access games on Steam, there are many features and content that is still being developed and put into the game before its official release next year.

But what the developers (Epic Games) have offered is a unique game that truly is unlike any other, despite the tried and true American zombie survival theme that everyone has seen, multiple times, for several years.

The game has been made with a great deal of care and attention to detail, in both its world and systems. This includes its mobile game style management and time-based game mechanics which take some time to get used to and may deter some.
